Join West Roxbury Main Streets, fellow commuters, merchants and residents at the new Porter Cafe for our next after-work neighborhood networking event, “Commuter Ales”. We’ll be hosting four events at the new Porter Cafe – every Tuesday night during the month of November, starting with Notch Brewing on Tuesday, November 8 from 5-7 pm.
Come meet brewer & owner Chris Lohring from Notch, and sample the Notch Session Saison on dra…ught, a classic low-alcohol farmhouse beer brewed with locally sourced malts from Valley Malt in Hadley Massachusetts.
Chef Jimmy Whelen will create a special bar menu for this event, including house-made sausage that uses the Notch Session Saison in the cooking process, and a meat & cheese plate specially paired to complement the flavors in the beer.
Spend some time with your neighbors and come support a local business after work!
And look for other Commuter Ales this month with Blue Hills Brewing Co., the Pretty Things Beer & Ale Project, and the Harpoon Brewery.
